The processing time for a German study visa can be up to 6 months. It depends upon the country you are applying from and the German embassy. After you apply, you can track the status of your Visa.

German Study Visa fees
The German student visa costs €75 for Adults and €37.50 for Minors. This study visa fee applies to most international students, including Indian students. The visa fee must be paid when you submit your visa application at the German consulate or embassy. For Indian students, payment can be madein INR, based on the current exchange rate. The study visa fees are non-refundable even if the application is withdrawn or rejected.
For Indian students, the German study visa fee in Indian Rupees is approximately ₹6,500 - ₹7,000 depending on the exchange rate). Make sure to check the exchange rate on the day of your application to get an accurate amount.
