Working with a residence permit in the Netherlands

International students with a residence permit can work in the Netherlands, provided it is related to their course. Students can work 25 hours a week during the program and full-time during vacation breaks.

 

Netherlands Student Visa Requirements

You will need a Provisional Residence Permit (MVV) – an entry visa (or provisional residence permit) for long-term and short-term study courses.

If you stay in the country for over three months, you must apply for a residence permit (VVR) apart from your entry visa. This is like a study visa that permits you to stay for your course. It can be extended if required for an additional three months.
